SUMMARY:All Fired Up
DESCRIPTION:All Fired Up is a chance for the next generation of youngsters to prove that they’ve got what it takes! \nAll Fired Up is Capitol Market’s teen barbecue challenge. Each team will be led by a 12 to 16 year old. Parents and friends may assist\, but the menu and cooking must be let by each child. Beginning at 11 am\, each team will be given a $100 Capitol Market gift card and 1 hour to shop the market for their meal ingredients. Beginning at Noon\, each team will have 2 hours to complete their meal. A grill\, along with basic pantry items will be provided for each team. At the completion\, each team will submit their meal to a 3 panel jury. Prizes will be awarded for\, “Best Overall\,” “Best use of Local Ingredients\,” and “Most Creative.”\nThere is no fee to participate\, however donations to offset expenses are greatly appreciated!
